Dear gawd the typo's in my post !! Yikes, lol ... sorry, was in a hurry to type that and a little ticked about this kind of junk. I come across it all day, every day. Is it really that hard to treat people the way you want to be treated ? Gets soooo old having to read the fine print of everything to make sure someone isn't trying to screw me.

Also MC, whether your rep management people come across this ( or are already monitoring it.) The 1st time you step over the line as regards anyone I represent. There will be legal actions initiated. Not to mention I shall scream long and loudly on several dozen forums/blogs/soc networks etc. About what a sleazy and untrustworthy operation you are.

The 1st time will be the last time you screw around with anyone Im assoc with. Everybody already has enough headaches to deal with in life. Without another sleaze business going out of it's way to add to the burden. If you can't build your brand the right way. Get the hell out of the business world altogether kay ?

And the plot thickens. :o/

Interesting ... also read skimmed through MC's TOS at one time ... albeit a long time ago. Getting serious bad vibe off of them. Really starting to tick me off how stabbing everyone in the back has become standard op procedure in the corp world.

Trying to start my own thing in the next week. FINALLY ... after 10,000 hrs of painstaking research and learning. My take on MC ... ? I don't care if it's a citation with weight or not. Just seriously considering requesting any clients I attract to tell MC to remove their listing info from the sites databases.

It really getting old now. With every company under the sun trying to screw everybody they can, every way they can. I'm old school I guess in regards the proper way to do business. You give somebody quality and valued service and keep everything honest and mutually respectful. That how I do it ... Have no intention of ever changing it.

If MC wants to implement sleazy maneuvers and policies ... great. It'll catch up with them sooner or later. In my case it already has. Don't want anything to do with them. Don't want anyone I represent to have anything to do with them.

Have heard when dealing with MC that you always have to read the fine print in everything they have ( TWICE ). To keep them from slipping a you've agreed to pay us for X clause in it. Well MC guess what ? ... Forget you ... and screw your citation. Nothing you offer of vital importance. Or anything that someone cannot get better ... 10,000 other places, w/o having to worry about getting stabbed in the back.

Laura, I apologize for Ben's rude remarks he forgets who the customer is. One would only need to search the MerchantCircle Forums to find MANY merchants complaining about lack of response from this company. As a person who has met Ben personally when I visited MerchantCircle headquarters in Mountain View CA last May, and someone who has risen to the top of MerchantCircle. I am very popular on the Circle. I have spent 6300 hours logged on the MerchantCircle in the last 3 years. I was averaging over 10,000 views of my listing every month. I recently deleted my page because of the abuse and dishonesty their employees have shown me and many others. I would love to post your complaint on my BLOG,http://www.blogger.com/profile/09411361777213591947 or contact me on Twitter at MC_lies

Ben, the reason Laura probably has to sound like a broken record is because you cocksuckers at MerchantCircle have no QUALITY customer support. Your employees don't have a freakin clue about the services and products you offer. They don't have very good communication skills either. They are really good LIARS and DECEIVERS though. If it wasn't for all the time a few of us Community Leaders have volunteered doing customer service for YOUR customers (Without any appreciation from you or your staff) MANY others would have deleted their listings and moved on a long time ago. Your paid products are the biggest waste a small business owner could ever spend their money on. Your Customer service SUCKS. In the 3 years I was a community Leader (Unpaid Employee) of MerchantCircle I have seen complaint after complaint from hard working small business people that you(MerchantCircle) have screwed, or tried to screw. So don't come in here trying to act like some arrogant fuck. Because we all know Merchantcircle is full of shit.

Just curious if Ben is a MC employee. If so what's the real deal with this company. Im an internet marketer and from some of the things Ive been reading about MC ... thinking about forgetting that site altogether ... really starting to sound like a free business listing there. Isnt all its cracked up to be. Read through the terms of service and again, some pretty ominous sounding phrasing included. Sighs, looking like Im going to have to can MC, for safeties sake.

We've resolved your problem. Would you quit going to every blog you and rehashing this incident like a broken record.

Thanks,

I wanted to respond becuase I had a $348 charge on my debit card. I tried to contact MC many times with great difficulty and did receive a call back from a David . The charges to my account were explained to me because I paid for a website for a company called Bit Market. MC had my credit information and also my home address linked to the creation of this web page called New Zealand Authentics. Long and short of the story they did not have my email address which is needed to sign into the account nor did they have my authority. They are fully aware that my credit card was misused. They explained to me that the company that is listed can't even be contacted because it is a bogus phone number listed on MC and goes to a fax machine. The so called Bit Market is in Kenosha,WI. Anyhow MC representative David was empathetic to my story and is in full awarement that my debit card was misused by this so called company selling electronics. They got my card information because my son tried to by an Apple Touch off a company called GigaDrive which unbelievably is no longer searchable on the web. Hum how interesting. What I don't understand is why MC would continue to carry the listing for Bit Market if they know it is bogus and maybe they could be a bit more helpful by sending me a letter to turn into my debit card company so maybe I can recoupe the money when I contest the charges with the card company. And Darren I know you have responded to this site and I will cut and past this onto the other address you listed. Maybe you can talk to David and get my number he has both my home and work and we can get this taken care of. Sadly enough this isn't money I worked for but was my son's child support money. If you don't believe me look up Pennsylvania Eppicard. Thanks so much and Darren hope to verbally hear from you soon.
